Gafisa, one of Brazil’s largest real estate developers, is now accepting Bitcoin as payment for real estate. One of the motivators for Gafisa to accept Bitcoin is to bypass intermediaries. Real estate transactions involve many parties, like banks, real estate agents, brokers, payment processors, etc. Gafisa has partnered with Foxbit and will be using its solution for Bitcoin payments.By Elizabeth Morrison
