Alibaba Cloud, Avalanche, And MUA DAO Join Forces To Launch “Cloudverse” Metaverse Deployment Tools

Similar to another announcement by Alibaba and NEAR, this somewhat turnkey solution aims to make it easier for businesses and developers to customize, launch, and maintain their own metaverse space through a combination of distributed ledger technology (DLT), metaverse tools, and cloud services from Avalanche, Alibaba, and MUA DAO (a metaverse solution provider and consultancy).

As it aligns itself to various public distributed ledgers, Alibaba appears to be catering to an audience that needs both blockchain and cloud services, but that they may also prefer to work with non-American cloud service providers. All blockchain components within Cloudverse, such as digital land, wearables, and other assets, are based on the Avalanche blockchain.

As a one-stop-shop for launching a metaverse, Cloudverse is hoping to set itself apart from other metaverse solutions through faster time-to-value tools and integrations, cloud scalability, ecosystem openness, and professional land planning and governance. Through this partnership and integration, Avalanche will likely reach a new developer audience found among the millions of Alibaba’s existing clients.

For its part, Alibaba Cloud will deliver a variety of cloud infrastructure services including compute, storage, database, and networking services.
