Goodbye Waitlist: Robinhood’s Web3 Wallet Now Available For All IOS Users

In addition to the wallet being available on the Apple app store, Robinhood is also providing USDC rewards for users who transfer crypto funds to their Robinhood Web3 wallet from Robinhood Crypto or another wallet. The Robinhood Web3 wallet also now supports Ethereum and 50 ERC-20 tokens. Until now, the wallet only supported Polygon.

“The feedback we’ve received for Robinhood Wallet since first launching in beta has been extremely positive. Users have told us they love how accessible and easy to use the app is, and that they really enjoy the ability to self-custody their digital assets and swap with no network fees on Polygon,” said Johann Kerbrat, GM of Robinhood Crypto, in an indication that the company is absorbing the fees that blockchain users are typically required to pay when swapping cryptocurrencies for each other or fiat currencies.

In September 2021, Robinhood originally announced that it would launch a wallet, and then the beta was launched a year later in September 2022. It’s important for enterprises to take note of how methodical Robinhood has been in launching a new Web3 wallet for its users. User experience and feedback has been highly important, and the company has acted on user feedback quickly to accommodate their needs.
