Kimberley Process offers a diamond certification scheme to regulate rough diamonds trade. The Kimberley Process represents 85 countries and is open to any country that will comply with the guidelines. The participating countries rotate the Chair position annually, following validation of the previous Vice Chair. In 2024, the Chair is United Arab Emirates.
