The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) is the leading standards authority in the global watch and jewellery industry and works with members worldwide to create a sustainable supply chain.
The RJC is an international, not‐for‐profit organisation founded in 2005 to reinforce confidence in the diamond and gold jewellery supply chain.
Its mission is to advance responsible ethical, social and environmental practices, which respect human rights, throughout the diamond and gold jewellery supply chain, from mine to retail.
The Council is governed by a Board of Directors elected by Members and managed by a small team of professional staff operating out of 4 countries.
