STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT Blockchain Project: 7-Eleven NFT Program
7-Eleven, the retail convenience store chain, conducted its first foray into NFTs in the USA as celebration of the company's 96th birthday. 7-Eleven offered free "Slurpee Vibe Digital Collectible" NFTs to customers via a mobile app game. These collectibles were designed and created by the collector in the mobile app game. They are only licensed to the collector and cannot be sold or transferred to a third party.
Additionally, 7-Eleven stores in South Korea offer an NFT membership program, complete with mobile payment privileges.
