DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION Blockchain Project: Électricité de France REC Management Program
Électricité de France (EDF) has piloted an automated renewable energy credits (REC) Management Program using Hedera Guardian, REDEX, a leading RECs solutions provider, and Rekursive Labs, a specialist in Web3 distributed ledger technology (DLT) enterprise solutions.
For this project, Rekursive provided an API wrapper for the Hedera hashgraph which records EDF's REC redemption activities cryptographically. So, EDF calls the REDEX API for REC redemption, retirement and other activity, and the wrapper that Recursive provided provided a call to Hedera hashgraph which recorded and made it traceable in the transaction record of hashgraph.
