Blockchain Project: General Motors NFT Program

GM filed trademark applications for Chevrolet and Cadillac NFTs in Feb. 2023.

Prior to that, from June 20 - 25, 2022, GM presented the, Chevrolet "Own The Color" auction which enabled the top bidder to receive a 1-of-1 piece of NFT artwork (Ethereum) created by artist xsullo, as well as a one-of-a-kind 2023 Corvette Z06 in Minted Green. Proceeds were to go to the charity, DonorsChoose.

In October, 2022, Cadillac commissioned NFT by teen visual artist Nyla Hayes to be auctioned to benefit the Save the Music Foundation as part of its Cadillac Black Future campaign.
