STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT Blockchain Project: Macy's NFT & Metaverse Program
Macy's department stores offer NFTs during special events including virtual Thanksgiving parade balloon NFTs within a virtual Parade experience, a Parade game and July 4 fireworks phygital T-shirt which is wearable in Decentraland. Macy's also has offered a metaverse fashion experience. Proceeds from the NFT sales go to charities such as the Make-A-Wish foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
