Roles in web3 Creative Development
Pharrell co-founded the Gallery of Digital Assets. At Louis Vuitton, as the newly minted creative director of menswear, he spearheaded the creation of "Treasure Trunk," a phygital collection within Pharrell and LV's larger web3 project, VIA. He is a board member and the Chief Brand Officer at the Ethereum NFT project, Doodles.
BBCicecream Collection
Pharrell co-founded the highstreet brand, Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) in 2003, sold his stake in 2011, and reacquired a 50% stake in 2017: since then, BBC has evolved into a group of brands collected as BBCicecream. In April 2023, BBCicecream launched the bb3 Technical Goods program with the release of their Y2Core Tee, a phygital product exclusively available to BB3 token holders, which includes a tee-shirt with an NFC chip embedded within the bb3 logo, and a digital twin, in the form of an ERC-721 NFT (redeemable by tapping the embedded NFC chip with a mobile device.
