Milestone Date: August 4, 2021
Iconic French fashion brand Louis Vuitton, a division of the multinational luxury conglomerate LVMH, is launching a mobile NFT game to celebrate its 200th anniversary and honor its founder, Louis Vuitton. The game can be downloaded on Android and Apple iOS devices.
Louis The Game follows Vivienne, the brand’s mascot, as she explores six different worlds in her quest to collect 200 candles to celebrate Louis Vuitton’s birthday. While exploring the six magical worlds, players will soak up history and fascinating stories about Louis Vuitton. The game also has a competition mode and global leader board, so players can compete to see who can collect the candles the fastest.

In addition to the candles, there are 30 pieces of NFT art to be collected. Ten of these NFTs were designed by famed artist Beeple. It’s important to note that the NFTs, which can only be found inside the game, can be collected but are not for sale.
The game is a continued sign of exploration into the digital and blockchain space by the brand. It’s designed to engage a young audience and the addition of NFTs is likely to attract a tech-savvy audience.
