Reebok Turns To Futureverse To Develop ReebokImpact Metaverse Experience

The metaverse experience will allow users to explore a virtual shoe and discover NFT-based digital wearables. According to the announcement, the goal of the experience is to “revolutionize fashion in the digital world” and “transform how consumers define digital fashion” by fusing gaming, Web3, AI, and the metaverse together. The experience is expected to launch in 2024.

While this is Reebok’s first project in Web3, the company signaled its interest last year when it filed for Web3-related trademarks.

Fashion brands have been increasingly adopting Web3 and releasing projects. Earlier this year, Lacoste filed for Web3 trademarks, and Foot Locker launched its first-ever NFT collection for its customers as part of a customer loyalty program.
