STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT Blockchain Project: Casio NFT & Metaverse Program
Casio offers a "VIRTUAL G-SHOCK" virtual experience including NFTs and metaverse. Participants can "connect with co-creators and share the excitement an enjoy a sense of accomplishment no one can attain on their own".
Participants must acquire a “G–SHOCK CREATOR PASS" NFT (Polygon) to get access to the official Discord. Once acquired community members are given opportunities to collaborate with others on creating NFT designs and in the e-sports experience.
In December, 2023, VIRTUAL G-SHOCK NFTs (Ethereum) inspired by the theme of futuristic shock-resistant G-SHOCK structures were offered for sale.
VRChat metaverse and other experiences are open to CREATOR PASS holders.
Casio launched physical watches in collaboration with the “blue-chip” NFT brand Doodles in February 2024. More than your typical watch, each co-produced Doodles-themed accessory is “phygitally” twinned to a matching blockchain-based NFT.
