Tire manufacturer Michelin has announced plans to launch a 5,000-piece NFT collection called the Michelin 3xplorer Club. Argentinian Airline Becomes First In The World to Launch NFT Ticketing

Flybondi, Argentina’s low-cost airline, has partnered with TravelX, a non-fungible token (NFT) ticketing company, to issue e-tickets as NFTs on the Algorand blockchain. Flybondi calls this integration “Ticket 3.0.” Passengers will be able to rename their tickets, transfer ownership of their tickets to whomever they want, and even gift tickets.

Airline Vueling Announces It Will Accept Bitcoin Payments

Vueling is a Spanish airline that will be accepting Bitcoin as payment. The airline has partnered with BitPay, one of the largest Bitcoin payment infrastructure providers, and Universal Air Travel Plan Incorporated (UATP), a payments network provider for travel-related expenses. This integration of Bitcoin payments will make Vueling the first low-cost European airline to do so.

Destinia Adds Payment Support for 5 New Cryptocurrencies to Use for Travel Bookings

Destinia, a popular European online travel agency, has introduced an array of crypto payment options for its users. Now, when booking hotel reservations, flights, travel packages, or train tickets, users can conveniently pay using six different cryptocurrencies. While Destinia has accepted Bitcoin since 2014, it has expanded its crypto horizon to include Bitcoin Cash, Eros, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dash.

Alternative Airlines Announces It Accepts Cryptocurrency Payments

UK-based travel company Alternative Airlines, in partnership with Utrust, has announced that it is now accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment for flights. The move is part of the company's efforts to cater to the growing number of travelers who prefer to use digital currencies for transactions. Customers can also pay for flights with Ethereum, Dash, DigiByte and Utrust’s native token UTK, one of many ERC-20-compliant tokens found on the Ethereum distributed public ledger.
